Milan Petrovic, President
Advanced Practical Solution, LLC
Chicago, Illinois
Milan Petrovic is the founder and President of Advanced Practical Solutions located in downtown Chicago, Illinois. He is the voice and face for his
clients in Springfield, Chicago and in multiple states. Milan has a unique
understanding of his clients’ needs. He is intimately involved with every
one of the firm’s clients to ensure that the clients needs receive the
constant and immediate attention they require to get their message heard.
Milan has many years of experience building and guiding top tier companies
with government relations strategies. An accomplished political strategist,
his vision and expertise in business performance, public relations,
government and politics have driven notable results for multiple
clients in the private sector such as Motorola, Illinois Hospital
Association, Trump Casino and Scientific Games, municipalities such as
Village of Lake Barrington and the Village of Gilberts as well as nonprofits
such as Harper College.
Offering a rare blend of creative and operational strength, Milan has
achieved positive results for his clients by working diligently on their
behalf. His strategic approach in mediating on behalf of various companies
and the government has produced benefits shared both by the State and the
clients he represents, as illustrated by his efforts on behalf of Harper
College to secure a $4.25 million grant for the institution.
Milan also has had a significant impact on helping clients have their issues
heard by appropriate government officials. He lobbied on behalf of Chicago
Manufacturing Center to ensure that their work with manufacturing companies
throughout Chicago was not interrupted due to a shortage in funding.
Milan’s original ties are with the State of Indiana. In 2001, Milan was
hired as a consultant to then Congressman Rod Blagojevich in his campaign
for Governor. He was instrumental in providing strategy which helped the
candidate win the general election in 2002 to become the first Democratic
Governor of Illinois in 26 years.
When he is not lobbying for his clients, Milan spends much time with his
wife Anne and their
three very active children: Alexia (10), Juliana (8), and Jacob (6). His
kids have inspired Milan to start a foundation which will raise money for
various children’s charities such as Children’s Memorial Hospital. Milan is particularly
involved with the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. As a longtime
contributor, he is active in raising awareness and funds for their annual
fundraiser in the Chicagoland area.
Milan holds a law degree from Indiana University School of Law and an
undergraduate degree in Political Science from Northwestern University.
