Sheri Osmani is a registered lobbyist at Advanced Practical Solutions (APS) where she works on legislative and executive level issues for a wide array of clients. Utilizing her background in public policy and the legislative process, as well as her extensive research skills, Sheri travels to Springfield and Washington, DC to advocate for client issues. As the authorized agent, Sheri ensures that APS and its clients abide by lobbying regulations both at the state and federal level.

Before becoming a lobbyist, Sheri was the Operations Manager as well as the Executive Assistant to the President at APS. She reported directly to the President and was involved with the day to day client work. In addition to servicing the clients, Sheri handled other aspects of the business including all operational and accounting work as well as managing the office. Furthermore, Sheri planned various fundraising events hosted by APS.

Prior to joining APS, Sheri spent over a year and a half with the public strategies firm of Wilhelm & Conlon (WCPS). There, she worked with senior management compiling research for their non-profit clients such as the Safer Foundation and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Prior to joining WCPS, Sheri was involved with the successful Rahm Emanuel campaign for the 5th Congressional seat in Illinois. Sheri helped organize events, maintain campaign data, and host gatherings for the candidate.

Sheri holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from DePaul University.
